How to do home office

Create a Home OFFICE

When we work in a home office, it can be very tempting to do all of our tasks from the comfort of our sofa. Unfortunately, there can be all kinds of distractions, making it difficult to concentrate. For productive work, the workplace should be sufficiently illuminated and the work table should be set up in a minimalist manner so that all necessary documents and tools are within reach. Also, care should be taken to ensure that the seating option is ergonomically back-friendly and encourages straight sitting.

Dress to work

In order to maintain our motivation in the home office, we should dress according to the office. This way you will appear more confident in possible zoom calls and have a better work motivation.

Have a Time Plan

Just like in the office, it is helpful to have a fixed daily structure in the home office. This is best achieved by creating a To-Do list. There, tasks can be sorted according to their priority and urgency.

Ban your smartphone

The endless scrolling on social media - even if it's just in between - takes away our focus and makes us unlearn how to concentrate for a longer period of time.

Take care of yourself

Office jobs in particular have a reputation for being bad for your health in the long run. Rightly so: Our eyes are exposed to artificial light for up to 8 hours and in the office you hardly move. In addition to regular airing, a walk at lunchtime can do wonders for your health. We can get some fresh air, move around and give our eyes a change from artificial light.
