The Daily Glow-Up: Elevate your life with 5 simple daily habits

It may sound cliché but every day is an opportunity to make a positive change. By making small adjustments to your daily habits, you can improve your long-term well-being. In this article, we'll share some tips on how to incorporate simple habits for better health, mental clarity, and productivity.

A daily schedule

We can’t speak for everyone but there is nothing worse than living from day to day without structure and purpose. Sure, for vacations or Sundays, it can be relaxing, but otherwise, it unnecessarily wastes the potential of your time. A daily schedule gives your day an invisible structure and helps you to keep track of your upcoming tasks. At the same time, you can manage your time efficiently. This makes your free time feel truly good- without guilt.

Self care routine

Taking enough care of yourself is a form of self love and self respect. It goes beyond your daily beauty routine or make up session. Here are a couple of basic examples:

  • of course: 8 glasses of water

  • a daily intake of supplements ( with consultation of your doc)

  • Enough sleep

Prayer

Daily prayers (or affirmations if you are not religious) help you to come down and practice humility and gratitude. Daily prayers are also meant to reduce anger and loneliness. By praying, you have the opportunity to relinquish control and replace it with trust - especially for events outside your control

Journaling

What were you thinking about today? What happened today? What do you want to get rid of? Your journal is a great place to start writing down your thoughts, whether they're about unpleasant things, built-up aggression, sadness, daydreams, or fantasies. Writing down your thoughts on a daily or regular basis can help you process your emotions, which will keep you balanced in the long run. Your journal doesn't judge you. It's there to listen and reflect back to you. And sometimes It can be a mirror for your irrationality and sometimes also the missing puzzle for your questions.

Restrict Technology

It seems that our ability to concentrate in the long term has been lost due to social media. The minute-by-minute barrage of short videos and images is an absolute flood of stimuli and information. In addition, the constant comparison to our peers is not good for us at all. Try to reduce your media time and try to consume more content that requires a longer attention span.

Why not try something different?

Instead of watching TikToks, why not try watching YouTube videos on a specific topic?

And instead of watching movies, why not try reading a book from time to time?

This way, you can train your brain for the long term

These tips are quite simple and can be implemented without much effort, but their effect is greater than you think and can improve your quality of life dramatically.
